A very special edition of our monthly Sunday show Hare of the Dog, closing the festival!


Lindsey Santoro and Barbara are your hosts, as usual. We have the incredible Anna Thomas headlining, as well as some top-notch local guests and of course some lovely open spots (newcomers to comedy).


Barbara Nice: Created by award-winning comedian and theatre director Janice Connolly, Barbara Nice is the overenthusiastic housewife alter-ego of Birmingham-based performer Janice, who appeared in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, and is well known for her lively, upbeat presence.

Lindsey SantoroNorthfield's Princess but Birmingham's shame. Lindsey has taken the circuit by storm since making her debut in 2014. Still one of the best gems on the circuit Lindsey has earned a place in the finals of both The English Comedian of the Year and Funny Women competitions. 


Lindsey won NextUp's Biggest Award in Comedy for her debut Edinburgh show Pink Tinge in 2023. She was also nominated for Best Newcomer at the same EdFringe! Since then she has risen even further with TV appearances on Mel Geidroyc's Unforgivable and Comedy Central.

Anna Thomas is an award-winning comedian, originally hailing from Carmarthenshire, South Wales.


She wrote and starred in ‘Lady Bigfoot’, a short film that premiered on BBC One Wales, and became the most watched comedy short on BBC Iplayer in 2023.
